Why I chose a Bowflex…

The main reason I chose the BowFlex was to find out if what they say on the commercials is really true. Over the years, I have heard the negative feedback, but have also seen all of infomercials & other videos regarding the Bowflex workout machine.

So my main point in getting the Bowflex machine is to find out if it really works or if it doesn’t work.

Here are a few more reasons why I am choosing a Bowflex machine:

Variety:
You can do a variety of exercises with this machine. I m choosing the Bowflex Xtreme 2SE. I love the fact that I can do over 70 exercises with the machine. I bought another exercise weight system last year and I am very limited as to how many exercises I can do. This was a major factor in my decision on buying a Bowflex machine.

Price:
Although the Bowflex is somewhat more expensive than a standard workout bench, with the variety of exercises I talked about, I think you get more bang for your buck with the BowFlex system.

Time:
Another major factor for me is time. I need something that I can get a good workout in around 30 minutes a day. I like the fact that I don’t need to change weight plates and can change weights pretty quickly.

There you go, those are the main reasons why I chose a Bowflex machine. If you own a Bowflex, what were your reasons for choosing it.

 

After 6 weeks, I’m amazed by the results

After using the Bowflex for just 6 weeks I am just amazed at the results. I haven’t lost as much fat as I wanted (most of that is due to Easter eating)… but I’m very happy with what I am seeing. The biggest thing for me, is that I continue to look forward to strength training. I never really enjoyed my workouts, but now, I look forward to them every time.

My overall progress with the Bowflex over 6 weeks: lost about 6 lbs of fat and gained about 4 lbs of muscle. Not bad in a span of 6 weeks. I’ll keep you posted on my progress for Round 2.

 

Almost a full month into using my bowflex…

I’m almost a full month into using the Bowflex machine. My progress has been steady and I’m seeing great results thus far. The best part is that I am not bored and I really enjoy my workouts with the Bowflex machine. I am trying to stick to the basic exercises (bench press, squats, leg extensions, seat rows, military presses, etc), but every once in a while I add a new exercise to change it up.

If you are thinking about buying a Bowflex machine, I highly recommend it. I know I was hesitant at first but I’m glad I made the decision. If you have any questions about it, please let me know. I’d be glad to help you.
